The following colleges will receive 30 places each over the next two years:
- Hugh Baird College
- Wirral Metropolitan College
- St Helens College
- College Cambria
- Middlesbrough College
The first call for applicants will open 4th January 2020 with the first mobility set to take place from May 2021 (dates to be reviewed in line with government advice on foreign travel), where the students will work abroad for approximately 3 weeks in one of the countries of destination.
The learning outcomes will ensure that this venture is a fantastic opportunity to grow their careers within the hospitality and culinary sector and ensure they are well equipped with the right skills and experience for the world of work after they finish their studies. As part of the funding for the project, all costs will be covered. All students will receive flights, accommodation, and subsistence to ensure that this mobility is accessible and inclusive for all students.
We look forward to leading this project and are proud to bring this opportunity to our network of colleges and students.
