Take Colleges 2019: Announcing Three Fundraising Dinners

We are thrilled to announce the line-ups and locations of our 2019 Take Colleges dinners, taking place in Middlesbrough, London and Liverpool. All three evenings showcase a fantastic line-up of chefs working alongside students from catering colleges across the UK. 

Please see below for more information on all three dinners. All funds raised from the events will go directly to Adopt a School, helping us continue to deliver practical cooking sessions and food education to over 16,000 children across the country.

Take Three Colleges, Middlesbrough

When: 21st March, Champagne Reception from 6:30pm
Where: Gisborough Hall, Middlesbrough

Our first Take Colleges Dinner kicks off with our North East Take Three Colleges dinner, taking place at Gisborough Hall in Middlesbrough. This is the first time a Take Colleges dinner will be hosted in the North East. Chefs Frances Atkins  (The Yorke Arms), Terry Laybourne (21 Hospitality Group), Jonathan Harrison (Sandpiper Inn), and Kenny Atkinson (House of Tides) will headline the event alongside students from Darlington College, Middlesbrough College, and Newcastle College. Service will be provided by Nick Shottel (21 Hospitality Group).

Take Three Colleges +1, London

When: 12th April, Champagne Reception from 6:30pm
Where: Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London

Our flagship Take Three Colleges Fundraising Dinner will be taking place on Friday 12th April at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall. The unique line-up will see leading chefs Chris Galvin and Jeff Galvin MCAJohn Williams MBEPhilip Corrick and William Curley MCA, cooking with their protégés: Emile GalvinAdam Smith MCABen Gielen and Alistair Birt to cook an inspired four-course menu with matching wines. Didier Aniès MOF will be joining Philip Corrick and the RAC team. Students from Bournemouth and Poole College, University College BirminghamWestminster Kingsway College and University of West London will also join the chefs' teams. 

The evening will feature a champagne reception, raffle, entertainment, and an auction of exclusive prizes.

Take Six Colleges, Liverpool

When: 21st June, Champagne Reception from 6:30pm
Where: Anfield Stadium, Liverpool

Our final Take Colleges Dinner will culminate at our Take Six Colleges Dinner, to be held at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool. Chefs Chris Marshall (Liverpool F.C.), Hrishikesh Desai (Gilpin Hotel), Gary Jones (Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons), Paul Askew (The Arts School Restaurant), Lisa Goodwin Allen (Northcote), Steve Doherty MCA, and James Holden (Adopt a School) will form the line-up, alongside students from Riverside College, L20/ Hugh Baird College, Wirral Met College, City of Liverpool College, St Helen's College, and Southport College. Service is to be confirmed.
